Born out of the pandemic years.
Many of the founding members of the Bay Area Improv Club met at in-person classes hosted by BATS Improv, just as the city was re-opening in late 2021.
Founding member Ryan Shaver threw together the first meeting in his San Francisco apartment, and the rest is history. Well, strictly speaking, the rest is yet to come, negating its ability to actually be history…but, you know what we mean.
